Bowling for Success
What
The Bowling for Success Semi-Annual Bowl-A-Thon is a fundraising initiative designed to raise money to support economic, business, and leadership training and development programs for youth and young adults. SFLi is committed to serving youth and young adults residing within the Metro DC area and was established as a citywide strategy, resulting in the transformation of urban youth in underserved communities.
Our objective is to provide the necessary support systems, which will allow youth to maximize their full potential and emerge as productive members of society.
When
Twice every year (See Calendar of Events for details)
How
You and your friends, family, or co-workers form teams of four, register with SFLi staff, and pay the total team fee of $120. Teams will commit to raising an additional $480 in donations for Bowling For Success from family, friends, colleagues, and the community.

SFLi believes that programs don't change lives, relationships do, and this bowl-a-thon is about establishing and nurturing relationships in the community, corporate sector, and among our closest friends.
We appreciate every relationship by adding value to our partnerships in everything we do. All partners will reach a select group of educators, clergy, and business professionals. All bowlers will receive team t-shirts and opportunities to win prizes throughout the event. Most importantly, students in the Metro DC area will have access to programs AND relationships that will change their life.
