Bianca Bonney, Executive Direction & Senior Program Manager
Bianca Bonney has 5 years experience working in youth development and community engagement. Her strength-based assets are problem solving, curriculum creation, execution, evaluation, as well as, presenting organizational ideas and goals.
She has work experience from a grassroots perspective while working as an Americorps VISTA for Youth Venture which focused on helping youth become social entrepreneurs and community activists. She currently works for Community Preservation and development Corporation (CPDC) designing creative programs for youth to explore, learn, and do.
She has created signature programs such as “Youth Turning Point” and project-based learning programs highlighting service learning, financial literacy, ethics and social responsibility, and team building for young leaders. She also leads the training program for the community residents at the CPDC Virginia site.
Bianca serves as the Executive Director and Senior Program Manager for SFLi. She currently holds a BA in Sports Management from the University of Michigan and a MBA in Management from Johns Hopkins University. Bianca enjoys physical and mental health & fitness, reading, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends.

Joyce Arawole, Corporate & Business Relations Specialist
Joyce Arawole has over 10 years experience working with nonprofits and youth organizations. Her past experiences include working with the Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center, Upward Bound Trio Program and the Congressional Youth Leadership Council.
As SFLI’s Corporate & Business Relations Specialist, she manages the organizations financials and seeks funding opportunities through local, corporate and governmental organizations.
In addition to her role at SFLI, Joyce is currently an Education Manager at SmithBucklin, where she manages education programs and initiatives for healthcare and business association clients. Joyce currently holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan. In her spare time she enjoys improvisational acting and traveling to the Islands.

Stephanie Benson, Contracts & Logistics Specialist
Stephanie brings a wealth of experience to the SFLI team, with over 25years of Sales, Marketing and Project Management experience, and 19 years in Customer Experience, Call Center Management, Sales and Project Management with a fortune 100 telecommunications company.
Stephanie believes that there are many talented youth in our communities with radical dreams , however, some of them don’t realize these dreams because they lack financial resources. In her current role as Contracts & Business Logistics Specialist, Stephanie negotiates partnerships and affinity agreements for SLFI programs. Stephanie strongly believes that “it takes a village to raise a child; I’m forever grateful for my village experiences, natural and spiritual, made possible by those who were willing to give of their time and resources”.
Stephanie is a Certified Accelerated Learning Facilitator and Instructor and has extensive experience in training employees and mangers to perform successfully in highly competitive team-based environments.
Currently, Stephanie resides in Clinton, Maryland with her devoted husband of 23 years, Barry L. Benson and three remarkable sons Quincy, Marcel and Tyler. Those who know her are touched by her kindness, generosity and commitment to serving God’s people.

June Green, Recruitment & Grant Specialist
June has served in the United States Federal Government for 30 years. Currently she is a Senior Management and Program Analyst. Several positions held throughout her career include Budget Analyst, Certified Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR), Systems Administrator, Equal Employment Opportunity Counselor and most recently Agency President of Blacks In Government. June attended Virginia State University with a concentration in Business Education, Office Administration, a Certificate in Business Administration from Northern Virginia Community College and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the George Washington University School of Business.
June’s current role with Success For Life Initiative is recruiment liaison – community. Through this role she reaches out to at-risk youth through the middle and high schools, community centers, churches and other youth based organizations within the community, in an effort to meet and recruit at-risk youth where they are. June makes her presence known at local monthly meetings, student board meetings and other School and County sponsored initiatives to initiate and develop strategic partnerships within the community. Her role with SFLi also extends to fundraising, grant researching, grant writing and grant submission to help fund and provide free leadership training, mentors and service based volunteer opportunities within the community. She is involved with locating and requesting bids for training facilities, bootcamp logistics and lodging. Her main goal/objective is to provide opportunity for and to help develop at-risk youth who live in communities that are underserved. June is passionate about guiding, leading and developing at-risk youth.

Terry Wayne Millender, Founder & Chairman of the Board
Pastor Terry Wayne Millender has been involved in Christian ministry for more than 21 years. His primary calling is to ignite a flame of passion and pure power within the hearts of God’s people. He strongly believes that ministry to a hurting world flows from the strength and faith of those in the pew and not just the pulpit. Pastor Terry is viewed by many as one of the youngest “Generals” in the Body of Christ today. He has a unique apostolic voice to young adult leaders around the world. His passion to raise up a faith-filled generation of worshippers, intercessors and global missionaries is highly contagious.
Prior to entering full time ministry, Pastor Terry functioned as a Northern Virginia businessman in the areas of communications and marketing. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of Victorious Life Church (VLC) located in Alexandria, VA where he teaches Christians how to personally develop and maintain intimacy with the Spirit of God thus creating a victorious life style.
Additionally, Pastor Terry is the founder of the Washington, D.C.-based Gospel Invasions Worldwide, one of the most effective evangelistic and leadership development organizations in the country.
Pastor Terry is committed to his family and is happily married to a precious woman of God, Brenda Lee, a/k/a the love of his life. After 21 years of marriage, he still affectionately refers to Brenda Lee as his girlfriend. They have 5 children and currently reside in Springfield, Virginia.

Dale E. Wafer, National Board of Directors
Dale E Wafer is Pastor of The Harvest in Washington, DC whose vision reflects Mr. Wafer’s passion for local and foreign missions, most especially in the area of community empowerment in the Third World.
Dale Wafer as a Pastor and leader in business, he sees Ministry in the market place as the intersection of Kingdom influence. As Pastor of THE HARVEST, a discipleship and mission’s organization based in Washington DC, he believes that equipping the saints for the work of the ministry is releasing disciples into the work place and business arena where they can be most effective. Dale Wafer is also CEO of Xpedite-IT LLC, a package and transportation company. Because of Mr. Wafer’s belief in “To whom much is given, much is required” he serves on a number of non-profit boards which include The Oak Tree Media Conservatory, the Success For Life Initiative (SFLi) and is a key advisor to the Eastern BOSS The Movement programs.

Grenetta L. Wells, National Board of Directors
With an unwavering commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, the integrity of His Word, and a love for God’s people, Minister Grenetta L. Wells is a woman in pursuit of the Kingdom of God. Her vision to empower and equip believers for Kingdom living is expressed through the ministries of teaching, prophecy and intercession.
Knowing all too well what it is to be bound and to be free, she is passionately committed to impart the revelation of true liberty from emotional, relational, financial, physical and spiritual entrapments to all that she encounters.
As a part of the Ministerial staff of Victorious Life Church (VLC) in Alexandria, VA, Minister Grenetta considers it a privilege to inspire and challenge the Body of Christ to embrace the transforming grace of Jesus Christ with the truth of His Word. Under her leadership, VLC is experiencing results in its Christian Growth and Leadership School, Media and Communications Ministry and Citywide Prayer School.
Genevieve Hanson, National Board of Directors
Genevieve Hanson has over eleven years experience in Strategy and Organization Development consulting arena working for Accenture, Booz-Allen Hamilton, Computer Science Corporation and Louis Berger International designing and implementing of business models and organizational improvements plans in structure, processes, technology, human capital and performance measures for public and private sector clients. Clients include Brunswick Mercury, Department of Homeland Security, Environmental Protection Agency, Government of Japan, and the Internal Revenue Service.
Ms. Hanson has spent over five years experience in managing the entire real estate development process and day to day activities required for the planning, design, permitting and construction of real estate development projects, worth in excess of $3 Billion in Washington, DC.
Genevieve graduated from the College of William and Mary earning a Bachelors in Arts in International Relations and MBA concentrated in Finance, Economics and Strategy from the University of Chicago. She serves on the University of Chicago – Booth Graduate School of Business, Distinguished Alumni Selection Committee. She also was a former member of the District of Columbia Habitat for Humanity – Capital Women Build, Executive Steering Committee.
