Program Strategy Our program strategy is designed to help youth R.I.S.E. U.P. over the challenges they face with excellence. R.I.S.E. U.P. focuses on the following principles:
R - Relationships
SFLI is an alliance of professionals in business, education, government, athletics, entertainment, etc., as well as parents, who are committed to help bring personal development and life management resources to youth.
I - Information
SFLI provides valuable information on topics relative to business, the global community, the criminal justice system, technology, and more to enable participants to make better vocational and life-choices.
S - Success Coaching
SFLI serves youth by matching them with a Success Coach who will teach principles that heighten awareness of how proper management of oneÕs actions and possessions leads to success.
E - Exposure
SFLI partners with caring professionals and provide opportunities for our students to learn about life beyond their immediate neighborhood.
U - Understanding
SFLI bridges the disconnect between urban youth and mainstream society that exists due to stereotypes and assumptions often made by both parties.
P - Partnerships
SFLI leadership is committed to strategic partnerships in order to reveal God-given purposes in students who are often left feeling undervalued and without support.
