FEA's Mission:
To equip participants with hope, motivation, and the foundational skills needed to succeed in the retail industry, leadership and life.

Q. How are candidates selected for the program?
A. We reach out to youth in controlled environments such as our adopted housing communities, group homes, detention centers and youth shelters.  It is through this interaction that we identify and invite select students to be a part of our program.  Only those demonstrating a desire for a better life are accepted in the program.  We look for that “gleam” in their eyes that shows a hunger for obtaining more in life.  Basically, we will only work with students who want more out of life.

Q. How does SFLI meet the needs of the students?
A. SFLI strategically partners with other nonprofit organizations whose missions vary from GED preparation, computer training, literacy enhancement and the like.  These carefully selected partners are strategically placed on the pathway to progress for each student to benefit from.  Students are referred to our partner organizations based on his/her particular needs and desires.
